Call for Submissions: Hispanic Research Journal Visual Arts Issue
This is a call for submissions for the upcoming Visual Arts Issue of the Hispanic Research Journal, which will be number 27.5. Ours is a well-respected, peer reviewed journal which has one issue a year dedicated to the Visual Arts (excluding Screen Arts which enjoys a separate issue of its own).
The Visual Arts issue publishes original articles and book reviews from all chronological periods of Latin American, Spanish and Lusophone Art History, broadly defined, and we are now seeking to broaden the focus of the issue yet further. We welcome your proposals for articles or short, thematic dossiers (of 3-4 articles) that can form part of the Visual Arts issue. Once an article has been accepted and edited, rapid online publication can follow before eventual appearance in a more traditional format.
Additional information can be found on the Hispanic Research Journal website, including instructions for authors related manuscript submission.
Please do get in touch with the co-editors (Piers Baker-Bates: piers.baker-bates@open.ac.uk; Anna Corrigan: ac919@cam.ac.uk; Jessica Weiss: jweiss16@msudenver.edu) if you have any questions about submitting an article to the journal, proposing a dossier, or suggesting a book for review.
