National Gallery of Canada

Admission $9 for permanent collection which includes Inuit, Canadian, European early and modern art in a stunning building.

 

Canadian War Museum

1 Vimy Place

Admission $12 Interested in military history this is the place to go. A large collection in a new and interesting building.

 

Canadian Museum of Civilization

100 Laurier Street, Gatineau.

Admission $12 A quick lesson on Canadian history or a visit to the Children’s museum. It also has an IMAX cinema.

 

Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography

380 Sussex Drive

Admission $9.  The permanent collection is Canadian but special exhibitions feature contemporary photography of other nations.

 


Music and theatre:
