The rate for this conference is CAN $149.00 per room per night, plus taxes. Most rooms are double, but there is a wide selection. Make your reservation before March 16, 2010. To make a reservation, please call the above number and identify yourself as a person attending the ASPHS meeting to receive the conference rate.

The Lord Elgin is a gorgeous historic landmark located in downtown Ottawa, just across the Rideau Canal (the world's largest skating rink!), Canada's National Arts Centre (www.nac-cna.ca), and easy walking distance from Canada's Parliament, the National Gallery of Art, the Royal Mint and the Museum of Civilization.  The famous Bytown Market, with its shops and restaurants is just 5 minutes away by foot.

Departs from post 10 outside the level 1, Arrivals area.

Tickets can be purchases in the Arrivals area.

4. Bus

The 97 route leaves the airport from post 14 in the Arrivals area and will drop you off a block or so from the hotel. Check in with the travel planner at www.octranspo1.com

Cash fare $3.25 or two tickets for $1.25 each (available for purchase at the Ground Transportation desk.)
